FTSE falls on Burberry hit despite upbeat Wall Street start
London's FTSE 100 index dropped on Monday, as poor Chinese economic data weighed on mining stocks, and shares in luxury fashion house Burberry tumbled.
The FTSE 100 index ended down 69.95 points, 0.9%, at 8,182.96. The FTSE 250 closed down 13.37 points, 0.1%, at 21,189.52, and the AIM All-Share edged down 0.69 of a point, 0.1%, at 785.48.
