A person closely associated with chair of the board and non-executive director Zillah Byng-Thorne at global reviews platform Trustpilot (TRST), Max Thorne has bought 78,800 shares at 217p for a total value of £170,996 on 21 May.
Thorne’s purchase comes after the FTSE 250 company reported a strong set of full year results in March which saw revenue gain 18% to $176 million compared to $149 million in the same year ago period.
Over the past year Trustpilot shares have gained 161% to sit at the 224p mark.
ASSOCIATED BRITISH FOODS DIRECTOR BUYS 2,930 SHARES
Kumsal Bayazit Besson, non-executive director of grocery-to-retail conglomerate Associated British Foods (ABF) has bought 2,930 shares at £27.28 for a total value of £79.930 on 22 May.
Besson moves comes after the Primark owner delivered consensus beating first half results and a 46% increase in interim dividend a month ago.
The director may be capitalising on the good news and the fact that the shares have jumped back to near pre-pandemic peak levels.
Year-to-date the group’s shares are up 14%.
PETRA DIAMONDS DIRECTOR BUYS 65,000 SHARES
Jose Vargas, non-executive director at diamond producer, Petra Diamonds (PDL) has bought 1,500,000 shares at 40p for a total value of £600,000 on 20 May.
As a result of these trades, Vargas now holds 17,000,000 shares representing approximately 8.75% of the company's issued share capital.
The move by Vargas comes after the company reported a mixed set of results after a varied performance in its rough diamond sales.
The London-listed company sold 371,104 carats in tender six - a 2% increase from the 362,132 carats sold in tender five.
Year-to-date the shares have fallen over 34%.
