Eoin Tonge, finance director of diversified conglomerate Associated British Foods (ABF), has sold 45,355 shares at £20.07 for a total value of £910,139 on 5 July
Tonge was chief financial officer and chief strategy officer at Marks & Spencer (MKS) and chief financial officer of Glencore (GLEN) from 2016-20 before joining Associated British Foods.
He sold his shares for the ‘purpose of meeting his tax liabilities’ according to the company statement.
REVOLUTION BEAUTY’S EATOUGH BUYS
Matthew Eatough, non-executive director at make-up supplier Revolution Beauty (REVB:AIM) has bought 23,575 shares on 3 July at 30p and 71,864 shares at 31p on 4 July .
Prior to this, Eatough bought 404,563 at 32p for a total value of £129,177 on 30 June 2023.
He now holds 500,000 shares representing 0.2% of the current issued share capital of the company.
The company has been in the news recently for its spat with online fast-fashion retailer Boohoo (BOO:AIM).

NATIONAL GRID DIRECTOR SELLS OVER £2 MILLION SHARES
Shares in multi-national gas and electricity supplier National Grid (NG.) have slumped 14% in two months and chief executive John Pettigrew has moved to sell a more than £2.2 million stake in the business.
The CEO sold 219,615 shares at £10.47 for the total value of £2,298,315 on 6 July.
The sale of shares is part of a long-term performance plan award and also to cover ‘tax liabilities’, according to the company statement.
Pettigrew became CEO of National Grid in 2016 after working his way up the company management ladder in a 25-year career.
