Order from the Financial Conduct Authority

Insig AI plc (AIM:INSG), the data science and machine learning solutions company, is pleased to announce that it has received a purchase order from the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA"). The order is for a subscription service licence agreement to access Insig AI's Transparency and Disclosure Index ("TDI") covering UK listed companies. The FCA can access our toolkit that allows users to search, filter, analyse and benchmark company disclosures, which are solely evidence based and traceable to company reports.

The FCA will also have access to ImpactScope's Greenwashing Identifier ("GWI"), an AI and blockchain powered application capable of identifying inconsistencies and unsubstantiated claims in statements and numbers across multiple datasets, including annual reports, ESG reports, earnings call transcripts, social media posts, news articles and carbon offset purchase transaction records. Insig AI is ImpactScope's exclusive agent for sales to international regulators and asset managers.

In 2023, Insig AI provided the data and software platforms to the FCA's 2023 TechSprint, known as the Global Financial Innovation Network's ("GFIN") Greenwashing TechSprint. The GFIN Greenwashing TechSprint brought together 13 international regulators. The project focused on how technology, including AI and Machine Learning, can enable regulators and supervisors to verify that ESG-related product claims and how technology can help monitor, collate, and identify examples of greenwashing from financial services firms' websites, social media platforms, and other documentation or data which can also be shared across jurisdictions.

Richard Bernstein, Insig AI's Chief Executive commented: "Since collaborating on the FCA's TechSprint, we have been hugely impressed with the FCA's decisiveness in harnessing technology, including AI and Machine Learning. I believe that our curated repository of machine-readable corporate reports and disclosures will assist the FCA. It is not so much the immediate financial implications of this purchase order but rather what we regard as the commercial importance of our work with the FCA. We are proud of this progress."
