Appointment of Director
The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Seema Paterson as Non-Executive Director of Baillie Gifford UK Growth Trust plc as of 2 January 2025.
Mrs Paterson is currently chief financial officer and board director of This Works Products Limited, a private equity owned wellness and beauty brand with operations across the world. She sits as Chair of the Audit Committee of CQS Natural Resources Growth and Income plc and also serves on the board of Resurgo Trust, a youth employment charity based in London. Mrs Paterson is a chartered accountant, having qualified in 1999 with Arthur Andersen in London. She has also worked in mergers and acquisitions at Société Générale and in corporate finance at Collins Stewart.
The appointment of Mrs Paterson is to be approved by Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in September 2025.
There is no other information required to be disclosed under section 6.4.8 of the UK Listing Rules.
