IRONVELD PLC
Delay to the publication of audited accounts for the year ended 30 June 2024
&
Temporary suspension
Ironveld PLC ("Ironveld" or the "Company"), the owner of a High Purity Iron ("HPI"), Vanadium, and Titanium project (the "Project"), located on the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex in Limpopo Province, South Africa, announces a delay to the preparation of its audited accounts for the year ended 30 June 2024 ("FY24 Accounts") and confirms that the Company will not be in a position to publish the FY24 Accounts by 31 December 2024, the deadline under AIM Rule 19. Consequently, the Company's shares will be temporarily suspended from trading on AIM as of 7.30 a.m. on 2 January 2025, pending publication of the FY24 Accounts.
Despite the best efforts of all parties, Ironveld and its advisers require additional time to complete certain procedures relating to the audit of the 2024 Accounts, with the delay primarily related to the appointment of a new firm to carry out audit-related procedures in South Africa. These procedures have now been completed satisfactorily and the Directors are working with its advisers to complete the audit process as soon as possible.
The Company anticipates that it will be in a position to publish the FY24 Accounts by mid-February 2025, following which trading in Ironveld's shares will be restored.
Notwithstanding the temporary suspension of trading in the Company's shares, Ironveld will continue to make announcements as and when there are any developments that require to be notified under the AIM Rules for Companies.
