Greensleeves Care has announced that Paul Newman, its Chief Executive for over a decade, will be stepping down in February 2025 to take up the role of CEO of We Care Group and Summit Care Group.
During his time at Greensleeves Care, Paul led the organisation through a transformative period of growth and innovation. Under his leadership, Greensleeves Care was recognised as one of the UK's Top 20 Large Care Providers, achieved numerous accolades for high-quality care, and expanded its portfolio to support more older people than ever before. "Leading Greensleeves Care has been the greatest privilege of my career to date. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together, from an innovative approach to growing the organisation, to delivering award-winning, high-quality care for older people. I am excited to join the We Care Group and Summit Care Group and build on the excellent foundations Bernie and his team have established"
Greensleeves Care Chair, Dallas Pounds, added:
"Paul has been an outstanding leader, steering Greensleeves Care through a period of exceptional growth, the challenges of the pandemic and setting a strong foundation for its future. On behalf of the Board, colleagues, and residents, I extend our heartfelt thanks for his dedication and vision. We wish him every success in his new role."
As Greensleeves Care embarks on the process of recruiting its next Chief Executive, the organisation remains committed to its mission of delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
