Electric Guitar PLC – Creating ROI with Engagement, Data and Understanding

Electric Guitar PLC

("Electric Guitar" or the "Company")

3radical's First Deployment of NFC-Enabled Voco Technology at Grand Designs Live

Electric Guitar PLC (LSE: ELEG), the digital marketing and advertising company providing first-party data solutions, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, 3radical Limited ("3radical"), has successfully deployed its Voco platform with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for the first time.

NFC is a technology which enables communication between electronic devices over a distance of four centimetres or less and this innovative solution was showcased at the Grand Designs Live event this month in Birmingham, engaging visitors to the DIY Home Decor stand in an immersive, data-driven experience. This newly integrated NFC technology allowed attendees to easily tap their smartphones on strategically placed placards at the exhibition stand, opening a seamless interactive experience, instantly connecting visitors with the brand by allowing them to:

                •             download digital brochures and promotional materials;

                •             book consultations and appointments;

                •             connect on social media; and

                •             receive exclusive discount offers.

By blending online and offline interactions, this solution captures intent data from consumers in real-time, enhancing brand engagement and creating deeper customer insights. This deployment builds on 3radical's earlier success with Jewson, one of the UK's leading suppliers of sustainable building materials, where similar initiatives were used to bring offline audiences into the digital space, fostering meaningful, first-party data acquisition.

This event marks the first use of 3radical's NFC-enabled Voco technology, showcasing 3radical's ability to combine physical and digital touchpoints to improve brand engagement. The integration of this technology into DIY Home Decor's customer interaction journey highlights the versatility and power of first-party data in modern marketing.

By deploying Voco's Software as a Service (SaaS) platform, Electric Guitar continues its strategy to maximise the value of first-party data, delivering personalised, relevant, and measurable customer experiences across channels.

John Regan, CEO of Electric Guitar PLC, commented: "We are excited to see 3radical's continued innovation in bringing real-world experiences into the digital realm. This first use of NFC technology at Grand Designs Live demonstrates the effectiveness of our strategy to combine online and offline data collection methods, ensuring businesses gain real-time, actionable insights to drive better customer engagement.

"With Virtual Realty increasingly blending the digital and physical worlds, it is becoming important for marketers to create experiences which combine physical and digital events."

Notes to Editors

Electric Guitar PLC (AIM: ELEG) is the provider of first-party data solutions for the marketing and advertising industry, empowering businesses to realise the value of their first-party data. In an era of changing consumer attitudes towards the use of their data, tighter privacy legislation, and the demise of third-party cookies, first-party data is now the key to success in digital marketing. Electric Guitar's strategy is to acquire and scale businesses that help marketers maximise the value of first-party data by curating, managing, and deploying it, and in doing so making Electric Guitar the industry standard for first-party data solutions. As the first part of this strategy, Electric Guitar acquired 3radical Limited, a company that utilises its Software as a Service platform, 3radical Voco, to enable organisations to engage individuals and request their data directly using interactive digital experiences. It has since entered into collaborations with several other businesses operating in the field, as well as a joint venture with Exelia Technologies Limited called Marcomms.ai for producing AI-driven products and services for the digital marketing and advertising industry.
