Harworth Group FTSE 250 Inclusion


Harworth Group plc, a leading regenerator of land and property for sustainable development and investment, is pleased to announce that the Group will become a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index effective from the start of trading today, 17 September 2024, having satisfied the eligibility criteria during the Index's recent Quarterly Review.


Active in the Industrial & Logistics and Residential sectors, Harworth has consistently delivered against its growth targets and achieved market leading returns. Since re-listing as Harworth on the London Stock Exchange in 2015, the Group has grown its Statutory Net Assets by 137%, whilst delivering a 10% average annual total accounting return and, last week reported EPRA NDV per share growth of 3.5% and a total return of 4.0% for the first six months of 2024.


To date, the Group has directly developed around 2 million sq. ft. of Industrial & Logistics space whilst also masterplanning sites and enabling land sales for the delivery of more than 5 million sq. ft. of Industrial & Logistics space and over 10,000 Residential plots.


The Group's extensive pipeline now includes 9.6 million sq. ft. of consented Industrial & Logistics space, expected to deliver up to £0.8 billion of Gross development value by the end of 2027. Harworth remains confident in its strategy to reach £1 billion EPRA NDV by the end of 2027, and to grow its Investment Portfolio to £0.9 billion by the end of 2029.
