Second quarterly interim dividend
The Directors have declared that a second quarterly interim dividend of 8.25 pence per share for the year ending 31 December 2024 will be paid on 2 September 2024 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 26 July 2024. The ex-dividend date will be 25 July 2024.
As announced in the Annual Report, the Board intends to raise the first three quarterly interim dividends in 2024 to 8.25p per share, from 8.0p per share in the previous financial year, subject to any unforeseen factors and the financial position and performance of the Company at the relevant time.
The Company has increased its total annual dividend for 51 consecutive years and the Board's dividend policy remains to seek to increase the dividend each year and, taking a run of years together, to increase dividends at a rate close to, or above, the rate of inflation.
The Company offers the option for shareholders to invest their dividend in a Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP"), which is managed by the Company's registrar. For details on the DRIP, please contact the Company's Registrar, Computershare Investor Services PLC.
