The Board of JPMorgan Emerging Europe Middle East & Africa Securities plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Yulia Chekunaeva as an independent Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st July 2024. The appointment was made after a thorough selection process undertaken with the assistance of a third party independent search consultancy.
Yulia Chekunaeva has extensive senior executive experience in the emerging markets industrials sectors at EN+ Group IPJSC London, Goldman Sachs London and Sberbank of Russia, CIB. She was until 2022 a Non-executive Director of NordGold plc.
Yulia Chekunaeva does not currently hold any shares in the Company. No further information is to be disclosed in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13 (2) - (6) of the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules for Yulia Chekunaeva.
