Appointment of Non-Executive Director
The Board of Brown Advisory US Smaller Companies PLC ('BASC' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Ruth Beechey as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 July 2024. Ruth will bring considerable expertise to the Board given her long career as a lawyer in the fund management industry. Her roles included Associate Counsel at Deutsche Asset Management 1998 - 2000, Head of Legal at UBS Asset Management UK 2000-2017 and Chief of Staff at UBS Asset Management UK 2017 - 2023. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Investor Forum.
In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no further details to be disclosed in relation to Ruth Beechey.
