Transaction in own shares
Burberry Group plc (the "Company" or "Burberry") announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 0.05 pence each from Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 12 July 2023 (the "Purchase"). The Purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Burberry on 29 June 2023, as announced on 30 June 2023.

Burberry intends to cancel the purchased shares.
Following the above transaction, Burberry holds 5,232,720 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 360,537,089 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 360,537,089 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
Since the commencement of the share buyback programme with Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc announced on 30 June 2023, the Company has repurchased 9,244,705 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 1,795.8700 pence per share.
