IT Governance becomes accredited CPD provider
GRC International Group PLC (AIM: GRC, "GRC" or "the Group"), the international governance, risk management and compliance company whose main business is cyber defence-in-depth, announces that its IT Governance business has become an accredited CPD (Continued Professional Development) provider for a selection of its self-paced and instructor led training courses.
Training across a range of cyber security and data privacy subjects is one of the cornerstones for any company's cyber defence in depth strategy. With IT Governance courses such as Certified GDPR, ISO 27001 ISMS and Cyber Security Foundation Training now becoming CPD accredited, it gives organisations further peace of mind that they are building a robust and solid cyber resilience strategy.
With CPD accreditation, IT Governance's training courses will now be promoted to the CPD body's worldwide audience of institutes, whose members have to register for annual CPD training. This will allow the Group to promote its training courses to a larger and wider pool of institutions.
The need for training courses to be CPD accredited is rising sharply, driven by the increased expectation for professionals to undertake continuing professional development training regardless of sector, career level or role.
Established in 1996, the CPD certification service is the world's leading and largest CPD accreditation service, supporting accredited CPD training providers across many industry sectors with over 25,000 CPD providers, courses, and events globally in over 100 countries.
Alan Calder, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"Having our courses CPD certified highlights the quality of IT Governance's training and the confidence consumers can have when purchasing from us for their cyber defences.
"Our CPD accreditation will enable us to add even more value to our delegates' training experiences by supplying a quality framework around which our courses are aligned, ensuring the training has an even more discernible impact on their careers."
