Appointment as production partner for Red Bull Home Ground Tournament
Gfinity (AIM: GFIN), a world-leading esports and gaming solutions provider, today announces it has extended its long running partnership with Red Bull and entered into a commercial agreement as the production partner for the third edition of Red Bull Home Ground. The Valorant Invitational event will be held at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, on December 9-11, 2022.
Gfinity is providing end to end production services to broadcast the live event, along with providing the outside broadcasting TV facilities and infrastructure. In addition, Gfinity & Red Bull partnered up for the ideation and delivery of a comprehensive pre-event content plan to promote and drive interest in the live event. This includes content shot in the UK and Turkey to be distributed on Red Bull Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok and YouTube.
The tournament format is unique to Red Bull. Eight teams from around the world will be competing in a unique, map-focused competition. In the best-of-five matches both teams pick a "home ground" to play on for the opening two matches. If a team wins both opening "home" and "away" matches, they'll go straight through - tie, and the best-of-five continues.
Red Bull Home Ground will be streamed live on Twitch and YouTube.
Gfinity has delivered three events previously for the partner: Red Bull Kumite 2021, Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final Knockout Round 2021 and Worlds Simplified 2020.
John Clarke, CEO Gfinity said: "We are excited to be working with Red Bull again and continuing our long-term relationship. When you work with Red Bull you can guarantee a collaborative and creative journey. The focus is on presenting the game and the tournament in a fun and compelling way for the players and fans. We love the challenge. Red Bull Home Ground 2022 will raise the bar higher than ever before. Don't miss it!"
