Cap-XX Ltd - Sydney-based manufacturer of supercapacitors for portable electronic devices - Signs strategic technology cooperation agreement with Lucerne, Switzerland-based electronic components manufacturer Schurter AG. The agreement aims to enhance the market position of both firms through leveraging synergies and pooling resources. Its primary focus is on collaborative projects within the field of energy storage technologies. The agreement outlines two cooperation types, smaller projects and idea exchanges and larger strategic initiatives. Notes that larger strategic initiatives will require sub agreements for implementation. Jointly developed intellectual property will be co-owned by both firms. Chief Executive Lars Stegmann says: ‘This represents a unique opportunity to combine our strengths and accelerate innovation in energy storage solutions. By leveraging our combined expertise in research, development and manufacturing, we aim to deliver groundbreaking technologies that will shape the future of the energy storage market.’
