Technology Minerals PLC - London-based provider of technology for battery metals recycling - Says its 48%-owned subsidiary Recyclus Group Ltd will now recycle end-of-life lithium-ion batteries for an unnamed leading online retailer. The retailer will send battery packs to Recyclus’ facility for processing, as part of its ongoing maintenance programme. It will also use Recyclus’ storage boxes to store and transport the batteries.
Technology Minerals Chair Robin Brundle says: ‘It is a pleasure to partner with a company that shares our dedication to delivering sustainable energy-related solutions. The materials recovered from recycling Li-ion batteries will support our mission to establish a cradle-to-cradle circular economy returning recovered critical battery metals back into the industrial supply chain. This builds on the momentum of other recently announced partnerships, further solidifying Recyclus’ growing commercial traction.’
