Shearwater Group PLC on Friday said it has won a series of contracts, including one ‘major’ one for its portfolio company, Brookcourt Solutions Ltd.
The London-based cybersecurity advisory and managed security services group said it had sealed £2.3 million in contract wins, with Brookcourt landing a new ‘major’ £1.5 million deal.
The AIM-listed firm said all contracts will be recognised in its financial year 2025, which ends on March 31.
Brookcourt’s new contract will see the London-based cyber-securities firm provide an advanced email encryption managed service platform to a leading, unnamed global financial organisation.
This new contract follows on from a series of smaller services contracts won over the last week totalling £800,000, and across a mix of sectors including national distribution, telecommunications and government.
Its shares rose 1.9% to 38.20 pence on Friday afternoon in London.
Shearwater Chief Executive Phil Higgins said: ‘We are delighted to secure this landmark contract with a prestigious global financial organisation, as well as a number of smaller deals in the past week which include further penetration of central government, a strategic priority for the group.
‘These achievements underscore the quality of our offering and ability to collaborate with leading partners to deliver high-value services and solutions through our portfolio companies. As cybersecurity and operational efficiency become top priorities for organisations, these wins reinforce our role as trusted advisors in meeting these critical challenges.’
