Galliford Try Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it has won two new commercial contracts in London worth a combined £87 million.
The Uxbridge, England-based construction company said its Building division has won a £53 million contract from Cadogan Estates Ltd to redevelop 30-33 Sloane Street in west London. The project will create a new six-storey building with luxury retail units, offices and a new rooftop restaurant.
The Building business also has signed a £34 million contract with Big Yellow Group PLC to construct a facility in Wapping, east London. It will create 133,000 square feet self-storage facility with offices and workspace accommodation.
The Building division revenue was £938.3 million in the financial year that ended on June 30.
Chief Executive Bill Hocking said: ‘Maintaining the organic growth of our building business is a key part of our sustainable growth strategy and our track record in the commercial sector within London is a strong one. We look forward to working with both these blue chip clients to create schemes that we can be proud of and enhance the local environment.’
Shares in Galliford Try were down 1.3% to 374.00 in London on Tuesday morning, after opening higher.
