Irish Continental Group PLC - Dublin-based ferry operator - Revenue for the first ten months of 2024, ended October 31, was €521.0 million, up 5.8% from €491.4 million a year before. This is primarily due to the acquisition of its ’Oscar Wilde’ cruise ferry. Total revenue for its Ferry division grew 6.3% to €375.8 million from €352.9 million, while total revenue for its Container & Terminal division rose 3.5% to €171.3 million from €165.4 million.

During the year-to-date, ending November 23, Irish Ferries carried 657,000 cars, increasing 10% from 592,100 last year, and freight carryings grew 7.5% to 702,800 roll-on-roll-off units from 651,900 the year before. Irish Continental shipped 13% more container freights, at 290,600 twenty-feet equivalent units from 254,200. Terminal lifts were up 8.5% to 307,800 from 282,800.
