Alphawave IP Group PLC - London-based designer of high-speed connectivity solutions said new bookings - Says it has been selected for an artificial intelligence research grant from the UK government’s Advanced Research & Innovation Agency, known as ARIA. The grant is aimed at addressing networking bottlenecks that limit AI expansion. ARIA’s £50 million initiative includes Alphawave among 12 grantees and ‘aims to advance technologies that improve networking and interconnect capabilities to facilitate scalable AI solutions’, says Alphawave.
‘It’s clear that new connectivity solutions are essential for sustainable AI scaling. Innovation is required across the technology stack, from 224Gbps to 448Gbps components, network architectures, and algorithms. We’re excited to leverage our leadership in chiplet-based connectivity to develop advanced technologies that enhance interconnectivity within AI accelerator clusters.
