Cordel Group PLC on Monday named Natasha Dinneen as permanent chief financial officer and director of the company, effective immediately.

The London-based company’s flagship platform uses artificial intelligence to supply transport corridor analytics to rail networks and operators.

It said that Dinneen would also assume the role of company secretary.

Dinneen’s appointment follows an announcement in March that Thouraya Walker, the company’s former CFO, would be taking a six-month sabbatical. Walker has now returned from sabbatical, and is moving to a non-executive director position on the board, with immediate effect.

‘We are delighted to retain Thouraya’s skills and experience as a board member and for Natasha to continue as CFO, a role in which she has made a very impressive contribution over the last six months. Natasha is a former KPMG auditor and has held senior finance roles with early stage technology companies in the UK. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales. Having two highly skilled female directors on the board is a win for the Company and our stakeholders,’ said Chair Ian Buddery.

Shares in Cordel Group were trading 4.4% lower at 5.26 pence each in London on Monday afternoon.
