EnQuest PLC, up 3.8% at 11.79 pence, 12-month range 10.90p-17.82p. Shares in the oil and gas company, which has operations in the UK and Malaysia, track Brent higher again. EnQuest shares are set for a third-successive rise, Brent likewise. A barrel of the North Sea benchmark trades as high as $72.47 each on Friday morning. It had traded as low as around $71.50 late last week following a tepid US jobs report.

Ceres Power Holdings PLC, up 2.4% at 191.39p, 12-month range 126.40p-388.40p. The clean energy technology developer extends gains after it reported a entry into the Indian market on Thursday. It had announced it has signed a solid oxide electrolysis cell systems, or SOEC, licence with Thermax Ltd.

Pod Point Group Holdings PLC, down 5.2% at 16.86p, 12-month range 15.93p-34.95p. Pod Point returns some gains after a rise of 4.2% on Wednesday and 0.5% on Thursday. The firm on Wednesday reported an entry into the capacity market, ‘further building the momentum of its Energy Flex business’. ‘With the additional revenues from Q4 2024, the group is upgrading its Energy Flex revenue guidance to around £500,000 for FY24,’ it said on Wednesday. The entry to the UK capacity sector came ‘ahead of schedule’, the electric vehicle charging solutions company added.
