Electric Guitar PLC on Monday said Jewson Ltd has signed a contract to use the Voca engagement platform in the launch of its new sustainability microsite.

The London-based digital marketing and advertising firm said its 3radical Ltd subsidiary secured a new ‘commercially significant contract’ with the building material supplier Jewson.

Electric Guitar shares were up 10% at 0.75 pence each in London on Monday morning.

Both companies will collaborate on the launch of Jewson’s sustainability-focused microsite later this year by integrating 3radical’s Voco engagement platform to enhance online interactions with Jewson’s traditionally offline audience.

‘The sustainability focused microsite not only allows us to connect with our audience more effectively but also enables us to drive the adoption of sustainable products and practices across the industry. We believe that this initiative will significantly contribute to our mission of building a better and more sustainable future for all,’ explained Jewson Category Innovation Manager Matthew Handley.

Voco makes it possible for Jewson customers to access the microsite both digitally and in-store using QR codes while also providing the company with valuable data and insights on customer preferences and behaviours to facilitate targeted marketing going forward.

Electric Guitar Chief Executive Officer John Regan said: ‘[The contract] not only demonstrates the value of 3radical’s digital engagement solutions but also highlights the growing importance of linking physical and digital customer experiences. We believe this collaboration will drive significant growth for both Jewson and 3radical, and we look forward to a successful launch of the sustainability focused microsite.’
