Equipmake Holdings PLC - Norfolk, England-based electrification solutions developer for the automotive, aerospace, marine, construction, and bus markets - Announces ‘significant milestone’ in the development of its HTM-3500 heavy vehicle electric motor with the company successfully doubling continuous power output from 100 kilowatts to 200 kilowatts at 2,500 revolutions per minute. The upgraded HTM-3500 maintains its peak performance of 3,500 Newton-metres and 400 kilowatts. Equipmake believes it is well positioned to take advantage of the market shift towards vehicle electrification and the subsequent growing demand for such motors.

Chief Executive Officer Ian Foley says: ‘Our upgraded, heavy-duty HTM-3500 motor sets new standards and is another example of how our proprietary e-propulsion product range is rapidly evolving. By doubling its continuous power, our HTM-3500 enables electric buses, coaches, trucks and other heavy vehicles to operate with greater real-world performance and efficiency during their regular duty cycles.’
