ME Group International PLC on Monday said it has struck a deal with Motor Fuel Group, which will see the FTSE 250 listing roll-out 300 of its Wash.ME Revolution laundry machines across forecourts in the UK.

The Epsom, England-based vending machine operator, formerly known as Photo-Me International, said: ‘These machines give consumers access to self-service, large-capacity, energy-efficient, high-speed washing and drying laundry services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Today, ME Group operates more than 1,462 Wash.ME Revolution laundry machines across the UK & Republic of Ireland and 5,957 machines globally, and continues to rapidly expand its estate through the ongoing rollout of new machines in high footfall locations.’

Vladimir Crasneanscki, head of UK commercial operations at ME Group said: ‘MFG is a fantastic partner for our Wash.ME Revolution laundry services due to their focus on providing convenient retail and service options to their customers. There is a significant opportunity for our Wash.ME Revolution machines across the UK and this partnership is indicative of our intent for the UK market and allows for rapid progress in geographic expansion across the UK.’

The machines will be installed over the next five years.

ME Group shares rose 3.9% to 192.60 pence each on Monday morning in London.
