Sirius Real Estate Ltd - London and Johannesburg-listed property investor - Retail investors buy 2.7 million new shares at 94 pence each via PrimaryBid, raising £2.5 million. This increases the total number of new shares being issued by Sirius to 162.2 million in its latest equity raise effort to help fund property acquisitions. The raise was first announced on Wednesday. The offer price to retail investors was the same as the institutional share placing and represented a discount of 3.5% to the closing market price on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Sirius had said it successfully raised £150 million through a share placing to acquire more properties. For the share placing, it will issue 159.6 million new shares, representing about 12% of its total prior to the new issue.

12-month change: up 7.6%

Stock price in Johannesburg: R 22.63

12-month change: up 13%
