Avon Protection PLC, up 2.4% at 1,360.30 pence, 12-month range 582.00p-1,408.00p. The personal protection equipment company ups its outlook, now predicting yearly revenue growth of around 10%. It had previously predicted ‘high single-digit revenue growth’. For the first half to March 30, Avon Protection reports revenue grows 25% to $127.1 million from $101.6 million. It swings to a pretax loss of £1.5 million, however, from profit of £300,000. Adjusted pretax profit jumps 66% to $8.8 million from $5.7 million. General and administrative expenses grow 41% to $31.8 million from $22.5 million.

Gore Street Energy Storage Fund PLC, up 2.4% at 66.85p, 12-month range 58.80p-104.60p. The investor in utility-scale energy storage projects expects to report revenue of £41.4 million for the year ended March 31, a rise of 5.3% from £39.3 million. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation are expected to climb 2.2% to £28.4 million from £27.8 million. ‘These strong results highlight the benefits of the company’s unique portfolio, diversified by geography, revenue streams and regulatory regimes,’ the firm says.

Capita PLC, down 3.4% at 14.55p, 12-month range 12.40p-35.93p. The outsourcer says adjusted revenue in the four months to April 30 declines 9% on-year, though this was in line with expectations. It maintains its outlook for the full-year and predicts a revenue decline for the half-year.
