Conduit Holding Ltd on Wednesday reported consistent income across its operations during the opening quarter.

The Bermuda-based reinsurance business said gross premiums written for the first quarter rose 28% to $356.8 million from $278.0 million last year.

Reinsurance revenue also increased 35% to $181.1 million from $134.0 million.

Chief Executive Officer Trevor Carvey said: ‘Following a successful 2023, our momentum was maintained in the first quarter, with growth continuing in line with our plans. The broad trading landscape remains very attractive and we continue to see a significant range of high quality opportunities.’

Conduit Holdings shares were up 0.5% to 510.60 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
