Record PLC, up 4.2% at 64.00 pence, 12-month range 56.20p-98.90p. The currency and derivatives manager says assets under management increased by 17% to $102.2 billion in the three months ended March 31, up from $87.7 billion. Chief Executive says this Jan Witte ‘presents a milestone which reinforces the already strong foundations upon which the group can continue to build.’

Taylor Maritime Investments Ltd, up 4.2% at 80.25p, 12-month range 63.00p-93.60p. The specialist dry bulk shipping company’s net asset value rises to $1.48 per share at March 31, from $1.36 at the end of 2023. CEO Edward Buttery says: ‘Due to our active chartering strategy we straddled the expected seasonal softening in the market and then took opportunities to fix period charters as rates improved. Asset values strengthened considerably and contributed to our solid performance.’

Zotefoams PLC, down 4.2% at 365.00p, 12-month range 258.55p-415.00p. The cellular materials company falls, after slow start to 2024. In the year-to-date, the stock is up just 4.6%.
