Asos PLC, up 3.8% at 363.00 pence, 12-month range 320.33p-794.00p. Shares in the fast fashion retailer add to Wednesday’s 4.9% rise. It had reported a decline in revenue but a narrower pretax loss as it hailed ‘disciplined inventory and cost management’. AIM-listed peer boohoo Group PLC was up 0.4% on Thursday, having added 1.1% on Wednesday in a positive read-across.

Rank Group PLC, up 1.4% at 72.00 pence, 12-month range 60.40p-107.60p. The Mecca bingo and Grosvenor casino owner says net gaming revenue for the third-quarter to March 31 improves 6% to £182.3 million. For the year-to-date, it is up 8% at £544.9 million. ‘Performance has continued to improve in April,’ it adds. It expects like-for-like operating profit for the full-year to be in line with expectations.

STV Group PLC, down 2.6% at 233.75p, 12-month range 175.00p-256.45p. Shares in the television broadcaster and production firm go ex-dividend on Thursday, meaning new buyers do not qualify for the latest payout.
