XPS Pensions Group PLC, up 7.9% at 252.40 pence, 12-month range 151.50p-253.37p. Shares in the pensions consulting and administration services provider rise. RBC raises the company’s stock to 270p from 255p. Reiterates ’outperform’ rating.

Mears Group PLC, up 1.8% at 367.40p, 12-month range 195.40p-375.00p. The housing and social care provider reports results for 2023. Revenue climbs 14% to £1.09 billion from £959.6 million a year earlier. Pretax profit jumps 34% to £46.9 million from £34.9 million. On the back of the results, Mears ups dividend by 24% to 13.00p from 10.50p. Chief Executive Lucas Critchley says: ‘The board believe that the group is well-positioned for the future and is pleased that the strong trading momentum built in 2023 has continued into 2024.’

Kenmare Resources PLC, down 5.6% at 339.28p, 12-month range 291.00p-500.00p. The producer of titanium minerals and zircon falls. Berenberg cuts its price target to 430p from 440p. Keeps rating at ’hold’.

Liontrust Asset Management PLC, down 1.9% at 678.12p, 12-month range 519.00p-1,019.00p. Shares in the asset management fall slightly. Barclays cuts Liontrust Asset to ’equal weight’ from ’over weight’.
