Hercules Site Services PLC on Wednesday said it has secured new contracts worth £5.8 million for waste water treatment and management projects in England.
The Cirencester, England-based labour supply company for the UK infrastructure sector said it was awarded £3.8 million from Thames Water Utilities Ltd for work across six of its sites. The largest contract from Thames Water, worth £2.2 million, is for sewage treatment works in Crawley, southern England.
In addition, Hercules was awarded £2.0 million from Anglian Water Services Ltd across two sites, of which £1.3 million is for a water pumping station in Etton, near Peterborough, England.
Construction Director Paul Field said: ‘These further wins are testament to our strong position as a trusted supplier to the UK water industry and build on the contracts previously announced in September with these two important clients.
‘The UK water industry has pledged to invest £10 billion to provide a cleaner, safer infrastructure network, and Hercules is well placed to help deliver on this given our expertise in the space.’
Shares in Hercules were up 5.9% at 25.95 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
