WPP PLC has approached outgoing BT Group PLC chief Philip Jansen about becoming the advertising firm’s next chair, Sky News reported on Monday.
Jansen is one of a number of candidates WPP is considering. The firm is currently chaired by Roberto Quarta, who has been in the role since June 2015.
Sky News reported that WPP’s search for its next chair has not yet reached an advanced stage. Sky News noted WPP is expected to pick a chair outside of its existing board members.
