Zenova Group PLC on Thursday said it received a first order from online coatings provider Rawlins Paints Ltd, which it has also appointed a sub-distributor for Zenova.
Shares in Zenova fell 13% to 4.00 pence each in London on Thursday before midday.
The London-based fire safety and heat management technology firm said Rawlins became another outlet from which customers can obtain supplies of Zenova’s range of innovative products.
These products ‘effectively and economically tackle fire protection and insulation and temperature management problems in a wide variety of sectors and range of issues’, Zenova explained.
Rawlins Operations Director Mike Taylor commented: ‘We are always looking for quality products with new innovation to offer our customers and we are looking forward to working with the Zenova team and their products.
‘We are excited to get our customers feedback on this new range and hope they see the potential we do for the many different possibilities the products could provide.’
Zenova Chief Executive Officer Thomas Melchior added: ‘Zenova is pleased to see Rawlins join the Zenova family of sub-distributors and the exciting times ahead for the Zenova brand and products.

On Wednesday last week, Zenova said increased demand for personal fire protection through Zenova FX aerosol fire extinguishers is ‘accelerating’ the deliveries to Zensafe Ltd.
It said the next shipment of 2,160 units of Zenova FX500 to Zensafe’s account with Amazon.com Inc will increase the supply and shorten deliveries for its customers in the UK.
Zenova said this was the first shipment out of the current total order for 10,000 units with a retail value of £300,000 for the Zenova FX500.
