Marula Mining PLC - Africa-focused mining and development company - Establishes wholly owned operating subsidiary firm Muchai Mining Kenya Ltd in Kenya to focus on ‘securing both near-term and advanced copper and graphite mining opportunities’. On Tuesday gives an operational progress update at the Kinusi copper project, located in the Dodoma region of central Tanzania. Says about 40 kilogrammes of representative samples are being transported to Southern Metal Processing Pty‘s facilities in South Africa for further metallurgical testing and process optimisation work. Chief Executive Officer says: ‘My site visit last week was, once again, confirmation of the potential that I believe this Project holds. Representatives from offtake groups have also conducted site visits, highlighting their interest in the project.’

Hydrogen Future Industries PLC - London-based investment company focused on hydrogen sector - Says Executive Chair David Ormerod to become non-exec director. Says Non-Executive Chair Daniel Maling will become executive chair. Expects to shortly start a third and final testing phase of an upgraded version of the 1 metre diameter wind turbine, as announced last month.

National World PLC - Leeds-based multimedia company - For the 21 weeks to May 27, says total revenue declines by just 5% year-on-year, benefiting from ‘both continuing growth in digital and recent acquisitions’. Says in April and May. revenue is down 1% year-on-year following an 8% decline in the first quarter. However, overall audience for the period increases by 20% with ‘page views reaching a peak of 167 million in the January football transfer month’, the firm says. Looking ahead, expects performance for the year to be in line with expectations.
