The logistics provider posts a 2.9% increase in revenue for the year ended March 31 to £1.46 billion from £1.42 billion a year earlier. Pretax profit jumps 6.9% to £62.1 million from £58.1 million. Full-year dividend improves by 10% to 13.2p from 12.0p a year ago. Looking ahead, Wincanton continues to forecast results for financial 2024 in line with expectations, reflecting the challenging external economic environment.

Restaurant Group PLC, up 3.4% at 49.73p, 12-month range 25.06p-57.69p. The owner of restaurant chains including Wagamama and Frankie & Benny’s shares jump, as investors wait for the company’s annual general meeting on Tuesday. In the year-to-date the stock is up 48%, but in the last 12 months the shares are down 8.5%.
