Eden Research PLC - Abingdon, Oxfordshire-based biopesticides and plastic-free formulation technology company - Announces that its flagship biofungicide has received regulatory authorisation in New Zealand for use on wine and table grapes, targeting outbreaks of Botrytis cinerea where it will be marketed as Novellus. Points out Botrytis is responsible for significant crop loss and food waste in New Zealand vineyards. Notes it is estimated that Botrytis bunch rot can have a financially destructive effect of up to NZD 5,000 per hectare.

Life Science REIT PLC - life science property-focused real estate investment trust - Announces the letting of 4,877 square feet at building 2020 at Cambourne Business Park to Rakon Ltd, a global precision timing designer and manufacturer, headquartered in New Zealand. Points out the lease is at a rent of £25.0 per square feet for ten years with a break clause and rent review at the end of the fifth year. Explains this marks the company’s first life science letting at Cambourne.

Angus Energy PLC - independent onshore energy transition company focused on UK assets - As planned, the second compressor at Saltfleetby field was successfully commissioned in dual compressor mode on May 10 and the 3 producing wells in the field, B2, A4 and the new B7T well, have been flowing gas to the National Grid at the combined average daily rate of 9.5 million standard cubic feet per day. Notes this represents more than a 75% increase in production over that achieved in the first quarter of this year. Further, as expected, says the new B7T well is producing between 4-5 mmscfd through the temporary flowline with stable flow as it continues to clean-up. Chief Executive Richard Herbert comments: ‘The achievement of our goal of putting 3 wells in production through the Saltfleetby facility is very satisfying and represents an important milestone for the company as it positions for strong cash flow generation and growth in the future.’

Aterian PLC - Morocco-focused metal exploration and development company - Announces ‘encouraging’ results from initial geological reconnaissance work completed on the company’s Jafra project in Morocco. Chair Charles Bray comments: ‘These preliminary results from the initial reconnaissance at Jafra are very encouraging.’ Bray adds: ‘the high silver values supported by very high lead grades are an excellent starting point for further exploration of the project.’

Galileo Resources PLC - mining company focused on Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa and the US - Provides update on airborne gravity and advanced soil geochemistry surveys over licences held in the Kalahari copper belt in western Botswana. Explains data collection has now commenced with results expected in the third quarter. Chair and Chief Executive Colin Bird says: ‘Overall we are very well positioned within the Kalahari copper belt in relation to Sandfire’s T3 and A4 deposit discoveries and other new positive developments in the belt’.

Malvern International PLC - London-based learning and skills development company - Signs five-year student recruitment partnership agreement with the University of Chichester which will see Malvern appointed as a global representative to support the University’s international strategy. Malvern will also provide support services to the University in its international recruitment. Explains this represents a variation to Malvern’s current partnership model, which is centred around student recruitment and on campus course delivery.

First Tin PLC - tin development company with advanced, low capex projects in Germany and Australia - Announces all confirmatory drilling at its Taronga tin project in Australia is now complete and that the results from the programme confirm both the widths and grades of mineralisation previously reported by Newmont between 1979 and 1982. Explains it can now use the historical Newmont data, in combination with the findings from its extension and infill drilling, to deliver an updated resource estimate for inclusion in the definitive feasibility study. Notes in total, eleven of Newmont’s diamond drillholes were twinned by First Tin diamond drillholes, two of Newmont’s percussion drillholes were twinned by First Tin diamond drillholes and five of Newmont’s percussion drillholes were twinned by First Tin RC drillholes. Two drillholes were abandoned due to difficult drilling conditions.
