Sanderson Design Group PLC - Denham, England-based luxury interior furnishings company - Posts revenue of £112.0 million for the year ended on January 31, down 0.2% from £112.2 million the year before. Says brand products sales are down 0.8% to £83.4 million from £84.1 million the year before. However, pretax profit rises by 4.8% to £10.9 million from £10.4 million, as basic earnings per share rises by 14% to 12.42 pence from 10.93p. Adjusted pretax profit rises slightly to £12.6 million from £12.5 million.
Proposes a final dividend of 2.75 pence per share, unchanged from a year prior. This brings the total dividend to 3.5p, also unchanged from financial 2022. Looking ahead, says licensing income has performed strongly and hospitality contract orders are encouraging.
Chair Dianne Thompson says: ‘As we start the current financial year, inflationary pressures on input costs persist but the US market continues to perform well, licensing income has performed strongly and hospitality contract orders are encouraging. The board’s expectations for the year remain unchanged.’
