Corero Network Security PLC said on Thursday it received ‘significant’ orders from new and existing customers for its SmartWall service.
The London-based cybersecurity provider said it secured a total of $2.0 million through these orders.
Corero said Smartwall, which was launched last year, provides distributed denial of service attack protection.
The orders are valued at around $380,000 per customer.
Corero did not provide details about its customers, but said a leading online gaming company is amongst its clients.
Chair Jens Montana said Corero’s ‘key customer wins’ in the first quarter of 2023 reinforce the company’s ‘growing reputation as a leading provider of cutting-edge DDoS cybersecurity solutions.’
‘We have renewed our focus on Corero’s ideal customer profile with a more targeted sales and marketing approach to ultimately drive revenue growth. We look forward to building on this new business momentum across the year as we continue to explore opportunities to expand our customer base,’ he added.
Shares were up 6.2% at 6.11 pence in London on Thursday morning.
