Gensource Potash Corp - Saskatoon, Canada-based fertilizer development company focused on sustainable potash production - Posts a loss of C$2.5 million in 2022, around £1.5 million, narrowed from C$4.9 million in 2021. Says the onset of war in Europe placed ‘considerable strain’ on supply chains and exports of agricultural commodities, food stuffs and energy during the year. Adds that agricultural commodities prices trended ‘well above average levels’ and provided an incentive for farmers to increase planted acreage and improve yields. However, notes that the war in Ukraine resulted in fertilizer supply shocks in nitrogen and for potash.
