Galantas Gold Corp - Northern Ireland-focused gold producer - Plans a non-brokered private placement of up to 5.6 million units at a price of C$0.36 per unit for gross proceeds of up to C$2.0 million, or £1.2 million. Says that each unit will consist of one common share of the company and one common share purchase warrant. Plans to use the proceeds for exploration including follow-up drilling targeting the high-grade dilation zones to depth at the Joshua Vein, the recently identified Kerr Vein target, development at Galantas’ gold project in Northern Ireland as well as exploration at the recently announced gold-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide project in Scotland.

Advanced Oncotherapy PLC - London-based particle therapy for cancer treatment - Enters into a secured convertible loan note agreement to raise £5.0 million from new and existing investors, as well as certain directors. Receives total funds of £3.8 million as of date. Says that the funding received from the secured convertible note will provide the company with a cash runway until end of April. Says that it will need to take steps to extend its cash runway beyond April, including further cost reduction initiatives, in the absence of additional funding.

Paragon Banking Group PLC - Solihull, West Midlands-based mortgage, savings and business finance provider - Says 31% of its shareholders voted against resolution two to consider and approve the directors’ remuneration report for the year ended 30 September 2022, excluding the directors’ remuneration policy at its annual general meeting on Wednesday. Says it will reflect on the points raised by those shareholders who were not supportive of resolution two and seek additional input ‘where necessary.’

Blackfinch Spring VCT PLC - Gloucester-based venture capital trust interested in technology businesses - Allots 985,495 shares for between 90.85 pence and 94.16 pence per share. Following the allotment, the total number of shares and voting rights in the company is 23.2 million, it adds.

Artemis Resources Ltd - Perth-based miner with gold, copper and cobalt projects in Australia - Gets firm commitments for a capital raise of A$2.6 million, £1.5 million, through a placing of 170.0 million fully paid ordinary shares at A$0.015 per share. Says that it is undergoing a technical and a corporate strategic review and that exploration activities will resume once completed. Says that the halt to trading on the ASX has been lifted now.

7digital Group PLC - London-based music licensing provider - Says that the court and general meeting for its acquisition by Songtradr Inc for £19.4 million will be held on March 23 in London. An agreement for the acquisition was reached on February 8.
