Quixant PLC, up 7.0% at 175.00 pence, 12-month range 110.00p-188.00p. Expects results ahead of market expectations, with pretax profit of $10 million on revenue of $115 million. ‘I am delighted to report a second upgrade in expected revenue and profit in the current financial year. This has been driven by ongoing buoyant customer demand, continued recovery in gross margins and ongoing management of supply risk. The strategy we have in place across the group is delivering, as we launch new products, diversify revenue, and become more closely integrated within our customers’ value-chain,’ the gaming technology products provider says.

Distil PLC, down 15% at 0.90p, 12-month range 0.74p-2.08p. The premium drinks maker, which sells brands such as RedLeg Spiced Rum, says revenue in the six months to September 30 plunges to £460,000 from £1.4 million. Its pretax loss widens to £555,000 from £45,000. During the half, it moved towards direct sales of its product, instead of through a distributor.

Brooks Macdonald Group PLC, down 4.4% at 1,740.00p, 12-month range 1,720.90p-2,800.00p. Closing funds under management at September 30, its first-quarter end, slip to £15.5 billion from £15.7 billion at the end of June. It records £200 million worth of net flows, but it takes a £334 million hit from market movements.
