Pensana PLC - London-based rare earth metal miner - Reported on Friday a total rare earth oxide reserve at the Longonjo mine of 767,000 tonnes at 2.55%. The proved total rare earth oxides was 3.19% while probable TREO was 2.05% using a NdPrO cut-off of 0.3%. Cutoff grade is the minimum grade required for a mineral to be economically mined. Material found above the grade is considered to be ore. NdPrO is neodymium and praseodymium oxide. Ore reserve estimate was undertaken by Snowden Optiro. The Longonjo rare earths deposit is based in Angola.
