Condor Gold PLC - mine developer in Nicaragua - Updates mineral resources estimate for the La India project in Nicaragua to 9.67 million tonnes at 3.5 grams per tonne of gold for 1.09 million ounces in the indicated category, and 8.64 million tonnes at 4.3 g/t of gold for 1.19 million ounces in the inferred category.
Feasibility study is currently being conducted on the La India vein set open pit, following an update on geological interpretations and litho-structural, weathering and mineralisation models.
‘Condor has produced a much more robust and conservative Mineral Resource Estimate for the entire La India Project, which comprises 6 separate deposits all of which have potential to be expanded. The focus has been of strengthening the confidence of the geological model ahead of a forthcoming Feasibility Study on La India Open Pit,’ said Chair and CEO Mark Child.
