Aquis Exchange PLC on Wednesday announced that some Aquis Stock Exchange companies will now be available for trading on Hargreaves Lansdown PLC’s trading platform.
The Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market is split into two segments: Access, for earlier stage growth companies, and Apex, for larger businesses. Apex stocks will now be offered on Hargreaves Lansdown’s platform.
Some of the companies currently listed on the Apex market include wine maker Chapel Down Group PLC and brewer Shepherd Neame Ltd.
‘I am very pleased that Hargreaves Lansdown is now including certain AQSE shares for electronic trading on its platform. I know that there is much client demand for this and we are looking forward to the scheme being extended to cover many more AQSE stocks as soon as possible,’ said Aquis Exchange Chief Executive Officer Alasdair Haynes.
Hargreaves Lansdown is a FTSE 100-listed, Bristol-based fund retail investment platform.
Aquis Exchange shares were 1.0% lower at 380.00 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon, while Hargreaves Lansdown shares traded 4.7% higher at 799.40p each.
