Hyde welcomes THCH to the Group
Further to our announcement of merger discussions last August, we're delighted to confirm that Tower Hamlets Community Housing (THCH) formally joined The Hyde Group on 1 April 2025.
THCH provides around 3,000 homes in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, which neighbours areas where Hyde already operates and brings the total number of homes owned or managed by the Hyde Group to c120,000.
This morning's legal completion signals that the first phase of integration is complete with people, core technology infrastructure, financial control and governance coming together. True change takes time, but we're committed to delivering improved customer outcomes quickly, and thoughtfully, with our teams already working hard behind the scenes to make a difference to the communities that we serve.
Andy Hulme, Group Chief Executive of the Hyde Group, said: "With Hyde's track record of delivery expertise, the partnership aims to deliver safe and decent homes, great services, strong communities, and a real voice for customers. We'll do this by delivering a new dedicated in-house repairs service for customers, having a continued local presence, with a team that knows their community and is accessible to customers, while adopting Hyde's neighbourhoods model and investing in homes, shared spaces, communities, and building safety projects."
