1Spacial PLC has secured a 12-month contract for its 1Streetworks software service with Kent County Council.
1Spacial is a Cambridge, England-based data management company and 1Streetworks operates traffic management plans, diversion routing and asset inventory lists.
The company said the contract is valued at £500,000, and comes after significant wins that were announced last year, including a £1 million contract with Surrey County Council in October 2024.
Kent intends to use the software to review the numerous road closure requests that it faces and also to adjust plans to use less disruptive traffic management. 1Spatial predicts that the county will see at least a 40% reduction in road closures thanks to their software.
1Spatial Chief Executive Officer Claire Milverton, said: ‘We are seeing growing appreciation of the product and its value to customers. Adoption by a second council will help accelerate growing market awareness of the benefits it brings.’
1Spatial shares rose 1.2% to 54.10 pence in London on Tuesday afternoon.
