Lighthouse Properties PLC - Mauritius-based property investor previously named Lighthouse Capital Ltd - Sells 98.6 million shares in Hammerson PLC for R 651.1 million. Late in November and early December, Lighthouse disposed of about 243.6 million shares in Hammerson for around R 1.60 billion. As at December 15, Lighthouse directly owned 846.6 million shares, or 17%, in Hammerson. Hammerson is a London-based property development and investment company. Lighthouse says its sale of Hammerson shares will allow it to pursue yield-accretive direct property acquisitions.
