Hunting PLC, up 5.4% at 201.00 pence, 12-month range 142.80p-356.50p. The supplier to the oil and gas industry tracks Brent prices higher. Brent oil was quoted at $101.78 a barrel Thursday morning UK time, up from $99.67 late Wednesday.

Kenmare Resources PLC, up 4.7% at 431.33 pence, 12-month range 4.02p-431.33p. A largely bullish broker note from Berenberg lifts the stock. The German bank says it is ‘upbeat on the broader mineral sands space and believe that the meaningful free cash flow’ Kenmare will generate in the medium term will help the firm’s valuation. Berenberg lifts its price target to 750p from 670p and affirms a ’buy’ rating.

MJ Gleeson PLC, down 2.8% at 515.00p, 12-month range 490.00p-919.00p. The housebuilder and land investor falls in a negative read-across with Persimmon PLC. Persimmon said its half-year revenue and legal completions were lower. Shares in the FTSE 100 firm were 5.1%.

On The Beach Group PLC, down 2.4% at 124.90p, 12-month range 124.80p-402.00p. The travel retailer falls after airline Jet PLC warns of possible continued disruption at airports during the key summer period. Jet2 PLC shares were 11% lower.
